Your captain is the owner and operator, Dave Lyon. Dave has been working outdoors and in remote locations in Alaska for 18 years, and has 20 years of experience on local waters.
A year-round Homer resident, he has worked for the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game, guided fly fisherman on remote rivers, fished commercially in Cook Inlet and Bristol Bay, and guided big game hunters after moose and caribou. He has extensive local knowledge and can recommend excellent hikes, kayaking, wildlife viewing, and things to do in town.

Our primary vessel, the Blackfish, is a comfortable 24' landing craft with inside seating for 6. The drop down ramp makes exiting the craft on the beach easy and safe, and the boat is wheelchair accessible. We are equipped with radar, GPS, dual VHFs and all necessary safety equipment. We can easily load freight and, depending on the materials to be hauled, can handle 2000+ lbs. The Blackfish can haul 2 average sized 4-wheelers, snow machines, garden tractors, lumber, or whatever else needs to go across the water.
